The Texas Trail Museum is located in the park at the corner of 3rd and Market. It houses 2 diesel fired generators, the first school house in eastern Laramie County, a U.P. Caboose and St. Mary's Catholic Church among other display exhibits of the early history of area residents. It also houses one of the most extensive collections of barbed wire ever assembled under one roof. You've got to see it to believe how many types of wire were used by farmers, ranchers and the military, as the West was settled.
